State FACE Recommendations

Our 12-department team, coupled with the Firefighter Cancer Support Network's VP of Education, formed in November of 2016.  We are currently in the process of developing a list of prevention recommendations for the Florida fire service that can be utilized across any department nationally.  These recommendations will be built on a foundation that considers the varied needs of large and small departments on the many issues we face as they relate to carcinogenic and toxic exposures.

Our goal is to become a trusted resource and partner in this collaboration. As these recommendations are finalized, they will be loaded here for all to access freely.

Below are some of the documents we have compiled to help you all implement the current State FACE recommendations.
