Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, Coral Springs Fire, Osceola Fire Rescue, Broward Fire Rescue, Davie Fire Rescue, Miami Dade Fire and our Statewide FACE Team were honored to be part of the 2018 Dolphin's Cancer Challenge held throughout the City of Miami last month, with a finish for all races at the 50 yard line of the Hard Rock Stadium, and a celebration on the field for hours after.

In 2010 The Miami Dolphin's organized event as a way to give back to Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer and to assist with all that they have done in cancer research. This year, our inaugural team of 70 South Florida firefighters (with friends and family of) helped showcase the specifics of Sylvester's commitment to the Firefighter Cancer Initiative, the Florida Fire Service and Beyond.

Sylvester's FCI Team has worked tirelessly alongside the Florida Fire Service for the last 3 years and are certainly committed for the long haul to our mission of FF Cancer Research, Prevention and Education.

When the time comes later this year, we will let you know and please join

Team Hurricane / Team FACE in 2019 for this fun and "mission important" event. Walk, run or ride in honor of those that have fought or are fighting. We would love to have every department from our State FACE Team represented in force. Thanks !

Our Departments and State FACE Team lead the charge to launch what hopes to be a growing annual presence of support.   A custom painted Fire Hydrant was presented in the stadium as a gift to the researchers and for the Miami's Sylvester facility lobby.  Team FACE was given this gift of an opportunity to honor our those fighting cancer and our endeared losses to inspire the additional energy needed for change.
