A total of 387 players committed to winning and $40,000 to our charities! That's the second largest attendance to date. FFSHC was proud to be named as one of the charities to receive funds- $11, 321.00 Butch Smith would be proud to see this money continue to provide assistance in firefighter canecr prevention.

On December 9th the FFSHC had an open meeting with Directors, Regional Coordinators and interested paticipants from across the state (and one representing Missouri). Various members reviewed our progress over the past year, discussed needs at the regional level, and future projects for 2019.The meeting was held at the Florida Fire Chief's Safety & Health Conference in Lake Buena Vista.

A grateful thank you to the Florida Fire Chief Foundation who presented the FFSHC with $5,000 to support our mission. The FFSHC was proud to assist in the planning committee for the FFCA Safety & Health Conference as well as presenting the Clinician Awareness Course at the conference. The conference was a huge success with renowned speakers on firefighter cancer prevention, health & fitness, firefighter safety, and mental wellness.
