On October 24 members of our FFSHC team were honored to present at Orange County Fire Authority in California at the Behavioral Health Conference.

Presentation by Kimberly Lightley,  US Forestry wildland Firefighter and her story of survival at Storm King Mountain is absolutely amazing and inspirational.

(Ret) FDNY Chief Krebbs and Frank Ungaro  shared their role after 9-11 and how this call continues to effect the members of the FDNY.


Division Chief Mike Moser of the Coral Springs Fire Department was the Incident Commander at the Parkland Shooting shared the operational and mental health response along with Captain Christopher Bator. Psychologist Marie Guma  also shared her involvement with mental health response as part of the Coral Springs-Parkland FD Clinician Response Team (CRT) and what FD’s need to know about the clinical, insurance , substance abuse and recovery industry.

Grateful to OCFA Fire Chief Brian Fennessy, Captain Jeff Hughes and the OCFA Fire Family for being amazing hosts and putting together a great conference.
