This was the 11th annual DCC event and this year over 3,390 participants from all over the world joined DCC XI in fulfilling the $75 million commitment to support life-saving cancer research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. 100% of the funds raised are used for cancer research. FFSHC was proud to donate $2,000 to this event in appreciation for all that SCCC does for the Firefighter Cancer Initiative.

Redline Rescue is alive and allows for FREE program and resource to connect Firefighters with both Peer Support members and Culturally aware clinicians in their time of need. To build a network like this, required the work of our Clinician Awareness program, the networking of our Peer Support teams across the state and the vision of Dustin many of you on this email who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, partners like UCF, Florida Fire Chiefs Association, the Florida Professional Firefighters, the Joint Council and corporate partners, Cigna Foundation, Firehouse Subs and N Collier Fire that donated to make this a reality and no cost to our Firefighters to use this service. The Florida Firefighters Safety and Health Collaborative is appreciative for the donations from FHE Health. Their continued supporting the mental wellness of first responders through training and education such as the Clinician Awareness Course is greatly appreciated.
